Ahh google maps won ‘t let me make a reasonable route!

I have been trying to add my running routes into google maps to figure out how far I’m actually running, but not much luck yet as you can see the google maps goes by roads, which is usually great and I would never knock it. But as you can see my 3 mile run has become a 7 mile run under their tool!!

Damm.
